In 1982, the title Video Game Capital of the World did not go to Tokyo, or Los Angeles, or anywhere you would expect. It went to a small town in southeast Iowa.
Ottumwa is where Twin Galaxies began, where the first scoreboard was kept, and where the players who defined an era showed up in person to prove what they could do. The arcade is the reason any of this was ever written down.
Printed as a vintage travel poster, because that is exactly what it is: a monument to a place worth traveling to. Archival fine art stock, made to be framed.
